Gramercy and Flatiron

Gramercy is bordered between 14th Street to 23rd Street, from Park Avenue South to the East River and most known for Gramercy Park, the only private park in Manhattan created in 1966 by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission. Park access is limited to those who live in the homes immediately surrounding the park. The neighborhood around Gramercy Park is highly sought after as it is generally perceived to be quiet and residential

Flatiron District is on the West Side, from 14th Street to 24th Street, and from Park Avenue South to Sixth Avenue and is most known for the Flatiron building, named for its iron-shaped footprint and one of New York City’s most iconic landmarks and a popular attraction for visitors. The area also benefits from Madison Square Park which offers residents a number of fun activities from Jemmy’s Dog Run to special event concerts.

Nearby Shake Shack dishes out popular burgers and shakes inside the park, and Eataly offers another fun dining option – who doesn’t love Italian cuisine, café and gelato? Residents also enjoy Union Square with its thrice weekly Farmer’s Market.
