After nearly five years of construction, located at 32 West 76th St., the most expensive Upper West Side townhouse is finally hitting the market at the price of $27.5 million.
Situated just off Central Park, the residence comprises six bedrooms and eight bathrooms and spans a massive 10,635 square feet. The entire townhouse was rebuilt from the ground up, with construction beginning in 2015.

NYC could become the most expensive rental market in the United States

According to a recent Zumper’s report, the city’s median rent for a one-bedroom apartment — $2,680 — is currently the second-highest in the nation, only $40 behind San Francisco’s $2,720, and New York City has seen much more growth than San Francisco in recent months.
The city posted a 4.3 percent month-over-month gain in median one-bedroom rent in July, making prices just 5.6 percent lower than they were this time last year; in comparison, San Francisco prices are currently down 15 percent compared to the previous year.
“With the COVID vaccine widely available, renters are adapting to a new …

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner acquired a waterfront South Florida home — a six-bedroom, 8,510-square-foot mansion — for $24 million, The Real Deal has learned.
The 1.3-acre estate, with manicured landscaping, reflecting pools, a double staircase, a resort-style pool and a large dock, hit the market in October for nearly $25 million.

Real estate gets its candidate for mayor: Eric Adams

Adams was heavily supported by business interests and real estate in particular. However, that was not the primary reason he won the Democratic primary, nor does it mean he will be in developers’ pockets when he takes office in January: His campaign platform calls for “aggressive” housing construction, but he has also blamed development for increasing rents in communities of color, criticized Brooklyn developers and recommended slashing the height of proposed towers that were opposed by NIMBY groups.
Adams, the Brooklyn-born son of a house cleaner and a butcher, and former captain in the NYPD, …
