La proposta sarebbe guidata dai principi del \u201ctight urbanism\u201d (urbanismo stretto).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">L\u2019iniziativa \u00e8 volta ad incrementare il valore delle propriet\u00e0 rendendo la citt\u00e0 pi\u00f9 pedonabile e tra l\u2019altro, di ridurre l\u2019effetto isola di calore urbano.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lo studio identifica tre diversi tipi di vicoli di South Beach e possibili miglioramenti per ognuno di essi.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ai vicoli commerciali e culturali, come quelli lungo Washington Avenue, potrebbero essere aggiunti alberi da ombra ed una superficie permeabile che filtra l&#8217;acqua piovana che ricarichi la falda acquifera sottostante. Potrebbero aver luogo anche passerelle e ponti sopraelevati.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Un vicolo particolarmente importante come il Lincoln Road North, dovrebbe diventare un&#8217; espansione del Soundscape Park grazie ad una \u201cabbondante pianificazione&#8221;.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Le idee per i vicoli residenziali e di collegamento includono pannelli solari, micro-fattorie urbane, fioriere e panchine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Un vicolo di Miami Beach vicino il Betsy Hotel \u00e8 stato adibito a \u201cdestinazione esperienziale\u201d con opere d&#8217;arte conosciuto ora come \u201cThe Orb\u201d.
