The first tower in Miami taller than 1,000 feet

The Waldorf Astoria is set to become the first ever tower in Miami taller than 1,000 feet (it will top off at 1,049 feet).

According to a representative of the developer, the Waldorf Astoria is planned to include: 205 hotel rooms and 360 residential units.

A groundbreaking ceremony took place earlier this month, and construction is now underway.

The Waldorf Astoria’s condo conversion continues to move forward. Three years after closing its doors for its transformation, the iconic hotel has launched sales for its 375 condo residences. The new residences will range from studios starting at $1.7 million to four-bedrooms starting at $18.5 million.
