Chris Bosh’s Miami Beach former home is for sale.

What you’ll get for your hard earned cash ($3,500 a square foot) is a stellar abode fit for the basketball king that he was: a seven bedroomeight bath waterfront mansion.

Bosh sold it in January for $14.4 million to an affiliate of Miami-based homebuilder AquaBlue Group which relisted it for almost three times the price.

According to the latest Redfin investor real estate report in July, home purchases by investors in Miami and Fort Lauderdale jumped a whopping 90% in the second quarter of 2021, compared with the same period the year before.

Investors bought 2,640 homes in Miami in the second quarter of 2021, up by about 91% compared with 2020. They purchased 2,163 homes in Fort Lauderdale in the second quarter, up by 183% from the same period a year ago, and they gobbled up 1,243 homes in West Palm Beach, a 53% increase ...

Work to begin on Miami Beach’s Tallest Building

Terra, GFO Investments and New Valley plan to break ground this month on Five Park, a 48-story, roughly 280-unit tower at 500 Alton Road that will become the tallest building in Miami Beach at 519 feet upon completion in 2023.

Extension To Design District and Monorail

Miami-Dade commissioners voted to accept funding from the cities of Miami and Miami Beach to pay for engineering studies needed for the Beach Corridor rapid transit project.

The two cities will contribute $417,000 towards the cost of the study.

The Beach Corridor includes a few separate projects. Completion of the Monorail is expected in 2026.

Miami-Dade’s SMART Rapid Transit Plan is on its way

Miami-Dade County’s plan to build six new transit corridors advanced in 2020, and five of the six corridors now have a mode of transportation selected.

The mass transit expansion is known as the SMART Plan.

Here’s a look at what commissioners chose to build for each of the corridors:
